de la Bajo Pais - Neapolitan Mastiff Breeder

About 'de la Bajo Pais'.

When we first saw the Neapolitan Mastiff at a dog-show in the Netherlands, we knew it right away. This was our dog to be.
Bomber, our first Neapolitan Mastiff, was a male of the combination Lumeloris x Londa v Worikben.
Soon there were others to follow, like; Ilaya v Hadimassa, Quincy Chevalier d'Ambiorix, Ch. Islera de la Bajo Pais, Guanita de la Bajo Pais, Ch. Cheyenna de la Bajo Pais, Ch. Giulio de la Bajo Pais, Ch. Ayla de la Bajo Pais and more.
By paying specific attention when breeding to the dogs appearance and bloodline, we did succeed to create a beautiful and typical Neapolitan Mastiff breed.
The evolution of the Neapolitan Mastiff in this century shows some differences.
Notice the less typical Neapolitan Mastiff in the beginning of the century. While the Neapolitan Mastiff evolved to a lager and heavier dog in the '70 till now.
It's important to use male Neapolitan Mastiff's with a lot of skin and good inheritance character. Combine this with a breed-typical female to keep good Neapolitan Mastiff quality.
In the search of a "typical" male Neapolitan Mastiff, you're sooner than later looking in foreign countries, i.e. Italy. Italy offers a lot of heavy quality male Neapolitan Mastiffs.
Even in Belgium and the Netherlands you'll find some (imported) beautiful "typical" Neapolitan Mastiffs.
At our page Our Neapolitan Mastiffs you'll find a summary of Neapolitan Mastiffs we own or did own. The information is accompanied with pictures and details of our dogs.
While taking everything in consideration, breeding good quality Neapolitan Mastiffs takes a lot of knowledge of this breed and its background. But when you get the hang of it, you'll say like every good breeder:
"The Neapolitan Mastiff is my life, not my living"
